Trekking from Kalaw to Inle Lake

The trek from Kalaw to Inle lake is famous for good reason: On the way you get to peek into traditional life in the Shan state, see magnificent scenery, and eat delicious foods. When you arrive you will experience the world renowned lake, with its leg-rowing fishermen who stand up on their boats to give them a bird’s eye view of the fish in the very shallow waters, picturesque floating gardens, village life and local wildlife. Around Inle Lake there are many small villages which connect to the main lake by means of narrow canals. You may also be able to visit some of the villagers in their homes above the silk and cotton weaving looms where they work.

We offer 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day trips, where you can see Pa Oh, Danu, and Taung Yoe tribal villages and more.
